Across Alken Systems we have a wealth of experience in the Mixing and Processing industry, having worked very closely for over 20 years with one of the largest global manufacturing and industrial equipment suppliers, predominantly manufacturing their shafts and ancillary mixing equipment.
Our expertise extends into specialised sheet metal machined fabrications. We manufacture and install bespoke polished stainless Sample Sections and Pipework for the Automotive exhaust analysis sector, again for one of the World’s leading companies in this field.
Our larger CNC lathes allow us to machine from 3mtr up to 12mtr between centres, and with our range of smaller CNC lathes we are able to machine < 3mtr. In the Autumn of 2017 we expanded our CNC Milling section with a significant investment in a Kiheung U1200N Universal Bed Machining Centre. With an envelope of almost 3.5mtr (X), 1.75mtr (Y) and 1.2mtr (Z), and with a rotating head, this is a really heavy duty machine built for the most demanding operations but also extremely precise in accuracy.
We offer a real ‘one stop shop’ here at Alken Systems Ltd that includes a diverse range of both manual and CNC Milling and Turning, Fitting, Assembly as well as a Fabrication Dept including Sheet Metal all under the same roof. As part of the Alken Group we also offer Laser Cutting, Flame Cutting and Lumsden Grinding through our Profile division.
Located in Birch Vale in the High Peak, Alken Systems Ltd operate from a bespoke production unit in excess of 15,000 sq ft. In 2017 we obtained ISO 9001:2015 quality accreditation.
